Back in March I started shooting for a bedding and furniture design company called The Red Threads. They’re based in SoHo, and while there was a bit of a space limitation, we shot everything in their showroom. They have these amazing floor to ceiling windows in the front of the store that create some really beautiful light; however, the reflection off of the red-brick building across the street gave me a bit of a headache. Especially since I had promised to deliver color correct images…

Thought I’d post some of the images I shot for Atelier ATA, a NYC-based interior design firm headed up by Traci Alleman - my long, lost next door neighbor. We shot at two locations, an apartment and a doctor’s office. I brought along a couple of “diva lights” (small kinos) and shot everything 4×5 with a digital back (Leaf Aptus 54S). Here’s what I came up with.
