MAD Museum

So, I was bouncing around town in the rain with the family on Saturday, and we happened upon the Museum of Arts and Design.  They were having a grand opening, and admission was free.  It had been a while since I’d been to any museum, so we went in.  I was blown away by the “Second Lives” exhibit (here).  Even the kids –ages 2 and 4– paid attention for 5 minutes.  My favorite was the image of the Mona Lisa created from spools of thread…totally worth your time.

Something I Did This Summer

Posted in interiors on September 25th, 2008 by james

As I mentioned earlier, this summer ended up being very busy.  In fact, the busiest that I can remember.  It was great.  Anyway, here’s some shots from a project I worked on for Tim Boyle Design.  Tim is an architect, and this is a house he built upstate in Garrison, NY.  An amazing space.  I’m hoping to get back up there when the leaves start changing.

One Crazy Summer

Posted in interiors on September 24th, 2008 by james

Wow.  I can’t believe the summer is already over.  And as you can see, I haven’t written anything since May.  I sort of feel like I stepped into a wormhole and jumped three months into the future.  It was a fun and, luckily, very busy summer.  I’m finally updating my site with a slightly new design that incorporates a new section of interiors work.  So if you haven’t been to the site lately, make sure you refresh your browser.  I’ll be updating my portfolio with new work over the next few days, so keep checking back.
